Directions:
1. Wash the yam and cut off the surface of the yam’s skin.
2. Slice the yam and put the yam into the 90 degree C boil water about 50s then put them into the cold unit the yam are cooling down.
3. Put them on the trays evenly and put them into IKE dehydrator.
4. Setting the target temperature at 62 degree C.
5. After 8 hours the drying processing will finish.
Different chinese yam thickness will have different dehydrating time, more thinner, the dehydrating time will be shorter. The dried chinese yam slices will regain moisture when they are in direct contact with the air, so a sealed package is required. If you use vacuum packaging, you can better preserve the color and aroma of chinese yam slices.
